You will need only two bibs from babys first weaning at around 6 months until they grow out of bibs around age 3 years.
Why 2 bibs? Well we advise one in this style for quick easy meals and one with sleeves for messy mealtimes.
Each bib is velcro fastening at the neck and has a turn up bottom to catch little spills.
Being made from neoprene also means that wetness is soaked up away from babys delicate skin so lessening the change of rashes from dribbles and spills.
We had a flower sleeved version from when our youngest daughter was 4 months old. She grew out of it around 3.5 years of age and we have it in the drawer as an emergency bib if ever anyone needs it. We only ever used this one bib, I wiped it after every meal or if it was messy I washed it in washing up liquid and hung it over the drainer to dry for next meal time. Pippi has a dairy allergy so ate a lot of tomato based products that usually stain bibs. Our bib is almost like new.
Yes you may pay slightly more for one bib, but they are an investment and ecologically sound. Less washing, less bibs thrown away and new bought re staining, ripping or tearing.
